Register Your Interest in Becoming a Signatory to the KidsPace Code

As a signatory to the KidsPace Performing Arts Code of Practice, you become part of the foundational beginnings of the first industry-wide code of its kind in Australia. You’ll join a growing nationwide collective of educators, directors and industry leaders whose voices give momentum and significance to this important initiative.

Important to know:
To obtain official signatory status and receive access to the KidsPace Code framework, participants must hold active Dance Arts Alliance (DAA) membership. This ensures alignment with national standards, governance, and a shared commitment to child-safe practices across the industry. Organisations or educators who support the principles of the Code but are not eligible for DAA membership are encouraged to contact us. We recognise that some child-facing organisations, such as schools and community organisations, may operate outside DAA membership categories.

What you will receive as a KidsPace Code Signatory:

  • Access to the KidsPace Performing Arts Code of Practice

  • Access to KidsPace in Practice: a dedicated online implementation resource hub including practical implementation tools, safeguarding policy and procedural support materials and additional leadership and child-centered teaching resources.

  • Monthly member Zoom sessions, including KidsPace Code FAQs, topic-based discussions and collaborative conversations around industry practice

  • A listing on the Dance Arts Alliance (DAA) Member Directory, identifying you as part of the KidsPace Code network for families seeking safe, supportive performing arts education (subject to active Dance Arts Alliance [DAA] membership)

  • Ongoing email support for signatories

  • A digital KidsPace Signatory Pack including promotional assets and member materials

  • Future access to additional member-only learning and training opportunities
