By registering as an Early Supporter of the KidsPace Performing Arts Code of Practice, you become part of the foundational beginnings of the first industry-wide code of its kind in Australia. You’ll join a growing nationwide collective of educators, directors and industry leaders whose voices give momentum and significance to this important initiative.
What you will gain by registering:
Early access to the KidsPace Performing Arts Code of Practice
A “KidsPace Early Supporter” digital badge for use across social platforms
Priority invitation to register as an official KidsPace Signatory when the pilot program commences in June 2026 (subject to active Dance Arts Alliance [DAA] membership)
For DAA members, a listing on the Dance Arts Alliance (DAA) Member Directory, identifying you as part of the KidsPace Network for families seeking safe, supportive performing arts education
The opportunity to influence change and stand alongside other industry leaders committed to safeguarding the wellbeing and development of children in performing arts
Important to know:
Registering as an Early Supporter demonstrates your commitment and intent, but does not confer signatory status. Official signatory registration opens with the launch of the pilot program (June 2026), where all participants must hold active Dance Arts Alliance (DAA) membership prior to commencement. This ensures alignment with national standards, governance, and a shared commitment to child-safe practices across the industry.
About Dance Arts Alliance:
Dance Arts Alliance is a national peak body supporting dance and performing arts educators across Australia. Through advocacy, professional development, and industry resources, DAA helps members uphold high standards of teaching, governance, and child-safe practice. KidsPace is delivered in partnership with DAA, ensuring signatories align with national standards while gaining access to resources, professional support, and a network of like-minded industry leaders.
