Become a Signatory to the KidsPACE Code
As a signatory to the KidsPACE Performing Arts Code of Practice, you become part of the foundational beginnings of the first industry-wide child safeguarding code of its kind in Australia. You'll join a growing nationwide collective of educators, directors and industry leaders whose voices give momentum and significance to this important initiative.
Founding Signatories: join free until February 2027
Organisations that sign up now become Founding Signatories, with full access at no cost until February 2027. From February 2027, an annual signatory fee will apply for direct signatories. We will let you know the details well in advance, and you can choose then whether to continue.
What becoming a signatory means
By signing the Code, your organisation makes a public commitment to uphold its commitments in how you teach, create, communicate with and present the children in your care. KidsPACE supports you to put that commitment into practice. Signatory status is not a certification, accreditation or audit of your organisation.
How to sign up
Create your free signatory account via one of the membership routes below.
Log in to KidsPACE in Practice and download the KidsPACE Code and Signatory Guide.
Sign the Code.
Complete the signatory form with your organisation's details, and upload your signed Code and your child safe policies.
We'll email to confirm your signatory status and send your digital Signatory Pack.
By becoming a signatory, you agree to the KidsPACE Signatory Terms and Privacy Policy.
Sign up directly with KidsPACE Code
Signatory status is open to dance and performing arts schools, studios, competitions, events, sole educators and any organisation offering creative education or services to children, including arts programs, community groups and schools. If you're unsure whether your organisation is a fit, please get in touch.
Sign up through Dance Arts Alliance membership
Dance Arts Alliance (DAA) is a peak body supporting dance and performing arts educators across Australia through advocacy, professional development and industry resources. Active DAA members can become signatories as part of their membership, with access to the Code and its signatory offerings as well as all other DAA offerings. DAA members also receive signatory Zoom sessions, exclusive to DAA members until February 2027, including KidsPACE Code FAQs, topic-based discussions and conversations about strengthening industry practice.
